Engaged!

So you guys have been asking our story, how did he do it? Where? What does the ring look like? Well, our engagement story begins in the happiest place on earth (quite appropriate I'd say). But before we get into that I thought I would start from the beginning.

Nick and I met when we moved into the same ward right when we were around 8 years old. I don't remember much all I knew is that he was way too hyper for my liking and made me angry when I talked to him. So we stayed on our separate courses. Around 16-17 he started to grab my interest.

Little Nicholas had grown up. He was no longer as hyper as that boy I once knew. A month goes by and I got a job at a movie theater. Our first date (of many) was my first (of many)free movies! I texted nick and said if he would pay for us to go to dinner I could get him into a movie. So we saw iron man and had some chili's. That was may 15th, 2008.

3 and 1/2 years later, almost to the day, we go to Disneyland.

We had looked at rings and I had the one I wanted pretty much picked out but I had no idea we were even close to having the resources to buy it.

I was wrong.

We had a magical day in Disneyland, it was night time and the castle was decorated for Christmas and the Christmas tree on main street was glorious.

He took me to the statue of Walt Disney and Mickey mouse. He started telling me all these beautiful things he loved about me. I still had no clue what was going on because he tells me this stuff constantly! (pause: this is why I love him so much, he seriously constantly tells me how grateful he is for me and how much and why he loves me and how he can't wait till I'm his forever...he is amazing) so I really had no idea he was in the middle of proposing to me until he said "so i've been meaning to ask you something for a while...".

Then it clicked. Then I was ecstatic. Then I had a sparkly ring on my left finger.

Shout-out to David stauffer: don't feel like you're the only one, nick wasnt sure of which hand either :)

So we had a mini-photoshoot with a Disneyland photographer. It was fabulous. I'm going to try to attach pictures to this post but if I can't they will all be on Facebook soon.

So thanks for tuning into our engagement story!

Here are some answers to questions I'm sure will be coming:
